This course is ideal for someone wanting to learn more about growing and using herbs from the garden. We will start with a guided tour of the garden, with a focus on the herb & herbal tea gardens where we will discuss growing and harvesting techniques and also using some of the more common herbs in your own home.

Back in the barn, relax with some light refreshments whilst watching Cherry give a propagation demo and show how to prepare a few simple herbal recipes, from hair rinse to hand cream. We will also discuss ideas for both starting a new herbal garden or incorporating herbs into your existing garden. Cost includes light refreshments, a free herb plant, seeds and a few simple herbal recipes which you can make at home.
